The main doors open at 8.25am (The school day starts at 8.30am) each morning and children can enter school straight into their classroom to read, play memory games or take part in an intervention, depending on their personalised curriculum. Parents are invited into read with their child at this time on different days. This is a lovely start to the day, allowing children to settle into school and for parents to see the class teacher if needed. School finishes at 3.00pm (2.55pm for Acorn Class).
Please speak to your child’s class teacher to find out which days you are invited in to read and where to collect your child from.
Lunch time is for Acorn, Willow and Elm is 11.45 to 12.30 and for Beech and Oak between 12.15 to 1.00pm.
The timetable link provides you with the timings of the lessons and an example of a typical week at Iceni Primary Academy. You will see that English, maths and phonics/SPAG is taught every day in year 1-6.
